WESTconsin Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative founded in 1939 as Menomonie Farmers Credit Union and headquartered in Menomonie, Wisconsin. It serves over 125,000 members across 28 counties in west-central Wisconsin and east-central Minnesota, with 15 branch offices. The credit union offers personal and business loans, mortgages, checking and savings accounts, and other financial services.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in specified Wisconsin counties (Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Sawyer, Taylor, Trempealeau, Washburn) or Minnesota counties (Anoka, Chisago, Dakota, Goodhue, Hennepin, Isanti, Pine, Ramsey, Scott, Wabasha, Washington). Employees and students of universities or technical colleges in the service area, immediate family members of eligible members, and organizations with business locations in the service area are also eligible. Membership requires opening a savings account with a $5 minimum deposit. Once eligible, membership is retained even if the member moves or changes employment.
