Topside Federal Credit Union (also known as NSWC Federal Credit Union) is a federally chartered credit union founded in 1961, headquartered in Dahlgren, Virginia with branches in Fredericksburg, King George, and Augustine. The institution serves primarily federal government employees, military personnel, and their families in the greater Fredericksburg and King George area, with total assets exceeding $300 million.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is available to civilian and military personnel of the U.S. Government working at or permanently stationed at Naval Support Activity South Potomac (NSASP) Dahlgren or its tenant commands. Active or retired U.S. Armed Forces members receiving authorized benefits from NSASP Dahlgren are eligible. Civilian and military Department of the Navy employees in the Washington Metropolitan area living in Fredericksburg or the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, or King George may join. Retired civilian personnel from NSASP Dahlgren and its tenant commands are eligible. Contractors working regularly at NSASP Dahlgren with offices within 35 miles and a minimum 6-month government contract may qualify. Employees of organizations that partner with Topside FCU can join through their employer affiliation.
