Smart Financial Credit Union is a Houston-based, federally insured credit union established in 1934 with over 70,000 members and 14 branches across the greater Houston region (Brazoria, Fort Bend, Harris, and Montgomery Counties, Texas). Originally founded as the Houston Public School Teachers Credit Union, it expanded to community status and now serves a broad geographic membership.
