AllSouth Federal Credit Union, originally founded in 1960 as Fort Jackson Federal Credit Union, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving the Midlands region of South Carolina with 23 branches across nine counties. The institution offers auto loans, mortgages, checking accounts, and other financial products to its members and is federally insured by the NCUA.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in nine South Carolina counties (Calhoun, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda, and Sumter), or who are immediate family members of existing members. Individuals may also qualify through employment with Select Employer Group partners. Those who do not meet these criteria can join via partnerships with the Financial Fitness Association, the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation, or the American Consumer Council, with AllSouth covering the first year of membership fees. A $10 minimum deposit establishes membership.
