Blaze Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution headquartered in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, with 29 branches throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Founded in 1934, it serves over 255,000 members and offers comprehensive banking services including checking, savings, loans, mortgages, and financial planning. The credit union was formed in 2024 from a merger of Hiway Credit Union and SPIRE Credit Union.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is available to individuals who live, work, worship, volunteer, attend school, or do business in specified Minnesota and Wisconsin counties (including Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, Anoka, Dakota, Scott, Carver, and others, plus St. Croix, Douglas, and Pierce counties in Wisconsin). Employees of companies or organizations that offer Blaze as an employee benefit are eligible, as are immediate family members of current members. Anyone who does not meet these criteria may join by making a one-time $10 donation to the Blaze Foundation. All members must open and maintain a Share Savings account with a minimum $10 balance.
