Sharon & Crescent United Credit Union (SCU) is a state-chartered, member-owned financial cooperative headquartered in Sharon, Massachusetts, formed in 2020 through the merger of Sharon Credit Union and Crescent Credit Union. The credit union operates 12 full-service branches across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, offering deposit accounts, loans, credit cards, and related financial services. It is federally insured by the NCUA and has approximately $1.25 billion in assets.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to persons who live, work, attend school, or have a usual place of business in Norfolk, Suffolk, Middlesex, Plymouth, Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, and Nantucket counties of Massachusetts; Providence, Bristol, and Newport counties of Rhode Island; and specific towns in Worcester County, Massachusetts (Blackstone, Hopedale, Mendon, Milford, Millville, Northbridge, Southborough, Upton, Uxbridge, and Westborough). Family members of eligible persons may join regardless of location. Organization members (fraternal organizations, voluntary associations, partnerships, or corporations) with a usual place of business in Massachusetts and composed principally of eligible individuals may also join. Membership requires opening a $5.00 savings account.
