Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative serving the entire Island of Hawaii with branches in Kailua-Kona, Kaloko, Kealakekua, Kohala, and Honokaa. Founded in 1936 by ten Kona coffee farmers during the Great Depression, it expanded to include the broader community in 1939 and grew through mergers to serve all of Hawaii Island by 2000. The credit union offers checking, savings, credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and other financial services.
