HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union, chartered in 1936, is the largest credit union in Hawaii with branches across Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. Originally founded as a credit union for educators, it has expanded to serve a broad membership including employees of numerous companies and associational groups throughout the state.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is available to individuals and their family members in the field of education (employees, retirees, students, and parents) at a majority of Hawaii schools pre-K through 12th grade. Individuals affiliated with any of the credit union's 10,000+ Select Employee Groups (SEGs) are also eligible. Immediate family members of current HawaiiUSA members may join. Additional eligibility options are available; the credit union states that many Hawaii residents qualify for membership.
