Eglin Federal Credit Union (EFCU) was chartered in 1954 and is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial institution federally regulated by the National Credit Union Administration. Based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, it operates 10 branches serving Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, Walton, and Escambia counties in Florida, plus Escambia County, Alabama. The credit union has been serving its community for over 70 years with a focus on member-centered financial services.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is available to military personnel (active, retired, reserves, and veterans), civil service and US Government employees affiliated with Eglin Air Force Base, Hurlburt Field, Duke Field, Camp Rudder, and 7th Special Forces Group. Membership also includes over 1,000 Select Employee Groups in the service area. Additionally, anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school within the credit union's geographic field of membership is eligible, as are relatives of and persons living with current members. All eligible members must open a Regular Share Savings Account with a minimum $5 deposit to establish membership.
