Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to active and retired firefighters from any fire department nationwide. Immediate family members of firefighters (spouse, children, stepchildren, adopted children, parents, step-parents, siblings, grandparents, and grandchildren) may also join. Employees of non-profit foundations authorized to support firefighters and spouses of deceased members within the field of membership are eligible. Once a family member becomes a member through a firefighter's sponsorship, they remain a member for life.
