Alabama State Employees Credit Union (ASE) is a state-chartered, member-owned financial cooperative headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, originally chartered in 1954 to serve state employees. In 2001, it received a community charter expanding membership to include anyone living, working, worshiping, or attending school in Montgomery County and eight surrounding counties. ASE operates multiple branches across central Alabama and serves over 41,000 members.
