WEOKIE Federal Credit Union is one of the largest credit unions in Oklahoma, headquartered in Oklahoma City. Founded in 1969 by Western Electric employees (hence the name WEOKIE), it has grown into a major financial institution serving the greater Oklahoma City area. The credit union is a not-for-profit, member-owned cooperative offering loans, savings accounts, checking accounts, and other banking services.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to anyone who lives, worships, works, or regularly conducts business in the Oklahoma City area, which includes Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, or Pottawatomie Counties. Employees of WEOKIE and community volunteers are also eligible. Immediate relatives of current members—including spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, step-siblings, and adoptive relationships—may join. Membership requires opening a savings account with a minimum $5 initial deposit.
