Utilities Employees Credit Union (UECU), headquartered in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, was originally chartered in 1934 to serve gas and electric utility employees on the East Coast. It has grown into a full-service virtual credit union serving approximately 64,000 members nationwide in the utility and energy sectors. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA and operates as a member-owned cooperative.
