The United States Senate Federal Credit Union (USSFCU), headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, is a federally insured credit union chartered in 1935 to serve U.S. Senate employees. With over $1.6 billion in assets, it now serves the Senate community and more than 100 Select Employee Groups nationwide. The institution offers savings, checking, loans, and financial education to its members.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is available to employees and retirees of the U.S. Senate, the Architect of the Capitol, the U.S. Supreme Court, and over 100 Select Employee Groups. Immediate family members and household members of existing USSFCU members are also eligible. Additionally, anyone can establish eligibility through a $10 donation to the USSFCU Foundation. To join, applicants must open a Primary Savings Account with a minimum $5 deposit and pay a one-time $1 membership fee.
