U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative founded in 1935 and headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, making it the state’s oldest credit union. It operates nine branches across New Mexico (six in Albuquerque, one each in Bernalillo, Santa Fe, and Farmington) and offers personal and business banking, mortgages, auto loans, and credit cards. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA and has served New Mexico communities for over 90 years.

Membership Restrictions

Individuals may join if they live, work, worship, or attend school in San Juan County, New Mexico, or in specific census tracts in Sandoval County; are an employee or member of one of over 400 partner organizations; have a family member or roommate who is an existing member; or are a U.S. Government employee working in or supervised from Bernalillo, Valencia, or Socorro County (with certain exceptions). Anyone who does not meet these criteria may become eligible by making a $10 donation to ARNIA, the credit union's not-for-profit foundation, which U.S. Eagle will match dollar-for-dollar.
