Spero Financial Federal Credit Union is a South Carolina-based credit union chartered in 1935 (originally as Greenville Telco Federal Credit Union, later SC Telco Federal Credit Union). It serves over 50,000 members across the Upstate and Midlands regions with more than $700 million in assets. The institution is a not-for-profit financial cooperative offering loans, deposits, investment services, and insurance products.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in select parts of Anderson, Cherokee, Columbia, Elbert, Greenville, Greenwood, Hart, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg, or Union counties in South Carolina. Immediate family and household members of current members are also eligible. Employees of select employer groups (SEGs) and their families may join. South Carolina residents who join the South Carolina Wildlife Federation (with a $25 donation) are eligible. Membership requires a $5 membership account opening.
