Royal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned credit union serving over 300,000 members across Wisconsin and Minnesota. Founded in 1964 by Uniroyal Tire Company employees in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, it obtained a community charter in 1975 and has grown to operate 26 office locations. The institution is federally insured and committed to creating a positive impact in the communities it serves.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or attends school in 16 eligible Minnesota counties (Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Goodhue, Hennepin, Isanti, Olmsted, Pine, Ramsey, Scott, Sherburne, Wabasha, Washington, Winona, Wright) or 26 eligible Wisconsin counties (Adams, Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Lincoln, Marathon, Pepin, Pierce, Portage, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, St. Croix, Taylor, Trempealeau, Washburn, Wood). Immediate family members of current or eligible members may join regardless of location. Organizations, associations, and corporations may also become members if authorized by law. Employees of the former Uniroyal plant in Eau Claire remain eligible under legacy provisions.
