G.P.O. FCU refers to two distinct credit unions. The most prominent is GPO Federal Credit Union, a community-chartered credit union based in Utica, New York, chartered in 1931 and serving over 40,000 members across seven counties in central New York. The other is Government Printing Office Federal Credit Union (GPOFCU), chartered in 1935 and serving GPO employees and the Washington, D.C. community. Both are federally insured, member-owned financial cooperatives.
