Campus Federal Credit Union is a Louisiana-based credit union founded in 1934 by LSU employees, headquartered in Baton Rouge with branches in New Orleans and Shreveport. It serves over 44,000 members across the region and is one of Louisiana’s largest credit unions. The institution offers comprehensive financial services including checking, savings, loans, mortgages, and business banking products.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is open to LSU employees, students, and alumni association members, as well as their family members. Individuals who live, work, or worship in Baton Rouge, Orleans Parish, or the Shreveport metropolitan area (including Caddo, Bossier, and Webster Parishes) are also eligible. Select employee groups designated as Business Partners may join. Louisiana residents not meeting other criteria may become members through the American Consumer Council (ACC) nonprofit organization. All members must purchase one share with a par value of $5 that remains on deposit for the duration of membership.
