Atlanta Postal Credit Union (APCU) is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 1925 as Georgia’s oldest credit union. Originally established to serve postal carriers, APCU has expanded to serve over 120,000 members across multiple states and operates branches throughout Georgia and North Carolina. In 2020, APCU launched Center Parc Credit Union as a division to broaden its consumer market reach.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is available to employees and retirees of the United States Postal Service and postal contractors, employees and retirees of the State of Georgia and its agencies, federal government employees (military and civilian) residing in Georgia, members of eligible postal associations and unions, and employees of specific partner organizations. Family members related by blood, marriage, or adoption to eligible or current members may also join. Residents of specific Georgia counties (Bibb, Bryan, Chatham, Clayton, DeKalb, Effingham, Floyd, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Jasper, Muscogee, Newton, Rockdale, and Walton) are eligible regardless of employment. Membership requires opening a Primary Savings Account with a minimum deposit of $1 to $5.
