Air Academy Credit Union (AACU), headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a federally chartered, not-for-profit credit union founded in 1955 to serve the U.S. Air Force Academy. With over $800 million in assets and approximately 49,000 members, it operates eight branch locations across Colorado Springs, Monument, Castle Rock, Parker, Littleton, and Highlands Ranch. The credit union has expanded significantly from its military roots to serve a broad membership base including active and retired military, school district employees and students, and hundreds of select employee groups.
