Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union is a Minnesota-based, not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in St. Paul with approximately 29 branches and $1.7 billion in assets. Founded in 1988 (chartered 1934), it serves over 200,000 members with comprehensive banking services including checking, savings, loans, mortgages, and credit cards. The credit union primarily serves federal, state, and local government employees but has expanded its membership field significantly.

Membership Restrictions

Membership is available to federal, state, and local government employees working in or with headquarters in Minnesota, as well as employees of organizations receiving state funding. Students and alumni of Minnesota State colleges, universities, and University of Minnesota Twin Cities are eligible. Membership is also available to employees of participating businesses and members of over 2,000 participating associations and clubs. Immediate family and household members of existing members may join. All members must maintain a $10 minimum share (membership savings account).
